Naomi E. Vaughn, 83, of 2 Greeves Street, passed away Wednesday (November 14, 2018) at her home.
Born February 2, 1935, in Sergeant, she was a daughter of the late Paul S. and Leota F. Smith McMahon. On May 3, 1985, in Kane, she married Bernard Vaughn who preceded her in death in 2008.
Naomi had worked at Stackpole and also at the Lutheran Home RCC. She was a member of St. Callistus Church and had volunteered at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Surviving are a brother, Roger McMahon of Bradford; three sisters, Rose (Frank) Apache of Valley Grove, WV, Cecelia (Robert) Peterson of Kane; and Betty Lou (Robert) Kribbs of Wilcox; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and Parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Annie Pennhollow, Jane Lloyd and Blanch Jay.
Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday at the gathering space at St. Callistus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow with the Rev. William O'Brien, pastor, as celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Callistus Cemetery Mausoleum.
