Obituary for Thelma Irene Huckabone (Bundy)

Thelma Irene Huckabone, 81, of 410 N. Fraley St., passed away unexpectedly Friday (October 5, 2018) at her home.
Born May 20, 1937, in Horton Twp. in Elk County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel A. and Ruth O. Vibbert Bundy. On November 1, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church, she married Paul W. Huckabone who survives.
Thelma had worked in housekeeping for 21 years at the Kane Community Hospital.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Paul, are three daughters, Ruby (Ollie) Bowen of Kane, Cheryl Proesl of Kane and Ruth (Steve) Anderson of Green Cove Springs, FL; a son, Joseph (Joanne) Proesl of Kane; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Paula (Don) Thowart of Ridgway, Nancy (Allen) Eckstrom of Ludlow, Karen (Dave) Hickey of Kane and Jim (Holly Crowley) Huckabone of Mt. Jewett; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by a sister, Annabelle Young, an infant sister, Isabelle Bundy and a granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth Raybuck.
Friends will be received Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday with the Rev. Jan Reynolds, pastor of the East Kane United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
