Kristyne Elaine Moore, 73, of Poplar Street, passed away Wednesday (April 4, 2018) at UPMC Hamot.
Born November 24, 1944, in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Christian and Martha (Anderson) Andersen. On February 27, 1985, she married Harvey Moore who preceded her in death in 2003.
Kristyne was an active member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Tabor Women Quilters and the Prayer Shawl Group. She also volunteered at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
She had worked at Warren State hospital and also at the Holiday Inn in Warren. Additionally, she had been a caregiver to many.
Surviving are four sons, John (Jamie) Moore of Johnsonburg, Kevin Dinger, Scott (Mary) Dinger and Dale (Heidi) Moore, all of Kane; a daughter, Tamy (Dave) Jacobs of Johnsonburg; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was known to many as "Granny K".
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia A. Farnham.
Friends will be received Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. William D. Waterman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
