Robert T. Wallin, 81, of 9844 Rte 6, passed away Monday (January 1, 2018) at his home.
Born May 17, 1936, in Titusville, he was a son of the late Elmer and Viola Lantz Wallin. On May 17, 1958, in Erie, he married Jacquelyn Fischer who preceded him in death.
Mr. Wallin owned and operated Mt. Jewett Beverage for 24 years.
He had been a member of the Mt. Jewett Sportsman's Club, Keating Sportsman's Club and the Wilcox Sportsman's Club. He also was a member of the VFW Lodge #1132, the BPO Elks #329, and The Eagles Club Aerie #307, all in Kane. In addition, he belonged to the Mt. Jewett Fire Department, FOP Bucktail Lodge and the Mt. Jewett Ambulance.
Surviving are four sons, Christopher Wallin and Kent Wallin, both of Mt. Jewett, Craig Wallin of South Carolina and Kurt Wallin of Emporium; a daughter, Lori Wallin of South Carolina; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three stepdaughters, Regina Greenman, Lisa Kane and Bridget Ellison. He also is survived by his good friend Carol Mullen of Erie.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Wallin.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am Friday with Dr. Edward Huntley, pastor of the Federated Church of East Springfield, PA, officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery in Mt. Jewett.
